Jenna Fischer's most well-known role is that of Pam Beesly in the highly loved television show The Office. The actress won 2 SAG Awards and an Emmy for her stellar performance on the comedy's ensemble.
She was born and raised within Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna's mother Anne often performed in dramas at church as a child, and this instilled an enthusiasm for theatre.
Fischer was a stage actress trained in her native country. The actress starred alongside Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway production Reasons to be Happy. At the Old Globe Theatre's premiere, she played opposite Greg Germann as well as Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's comical comedy Meteor Shower.
The Office's Angela Kinsey (the cast mate of Fischer) as well as her actual best friend, Angela Kinsey from The Office, started a podcast back in October. The show was called Office Ladies. The show has grown in popularity and is now in the Top Ten every single week. In its debut year, the show received over 200 million downloads. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She is also co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends there. This autobiography is about their relationship and working together in the production of The Office.
