Allison Brooks Janney (born April 14, 1970) is an American actor. Her work is recognized for its performances on the stage and on screen, she has received various accolades including an Academy Award a British Academy Film Award and a Golden Globe Award and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in addition to being nominated for two Tony Awards. Allison Janney, who spent more than 20 years working in theatres across the country, was known for her role as White House Press Secretary C.J. Gregg on the well-known and acclaimed television drama The West Wing (NBC 1999-2006). Allison Janney has always been a late stager. The permit to drive was not given until 17, one year after many of her peers from Ohio. Then she didn't meet the first date until after she was enrolled in University. Faris has been reported to have earned $200,000 from every episode in season three and four.
