Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is an American actress, best known for portraying detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well on NBC's Providence drama as well as The Resident's medicine drama The Resident. The actress received critical acclaim for her role as Eleni Anderson Cooper in her first television role in CBS soap show Guiding Light. A few of her most memorable films comprise 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly making a film adaptation of the writer's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides the duo who wrote the script for Immortals. Her upcoming TV series, Gods & Heroes is currently being developed.
